Terry Leibman

Terry brings to her family law practice a wealth of dispute resolution and advocacy experience, having spent some 20 years working as a litigator at some of Sydney’s most highly regarded law firms, and as a barrister at the New South Wales Bar.  

Terry has worked as a Principal Solicitor for the NSW Cabinet Office, managing competing interests of stakeholders to support the Premier’s law reform agenda. Terry has also worked as a lecturer at the University of NSW Law School, teaching subjects including evidence and civil procedure.

Terry has a strong commercial acumen and a practical and strategic approach to resolving complex disputes. Terry also has three young children and understands the demands and challenges of parenting in today’s complex world.

Terry graduated with a BA. LLB (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales in 1997, was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 1998 and was called to the NSW Bar in 2005.
